Sub-Theme 4: Charity and Consideration

Synopsis

Charity by definition is generous action or donations to aid the ill, poor or helpless. Everyone seems to place different importance to it, but as a part of nation building, the Prime Minister has deemed it of enough importance to mention it in his National Day Rally speech 2011. The new 5Cs would bring Singaporean as a nation forward to a better and greater tomorrow. So where does Charity stand in the new future for you? Why is there a need for charity? What is its value?
