Guidelines during stay at Downtown East: 16-19 September 2008.
The following guidelines apply to all Poly Forum 2008 participants:
1. Participants must be properly attired at all times. They are to abide by the dress code stipulated by the PF 2008 Organising Committee and staff facilitators
2. Proper conduct is expected at all times.
3. Be punctual for all activities.
4. Participate actively, learn from the experience and enjoy yourself.
5. Keep your staff facilitators and your buddies informed of your whereabouts at all time.
6. Inform the staff facilitators or student leaders if you are not feeling well or get help from the secretariat room.
7. Smoking is strictly prohibited
8. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is not allowed.
9. All forms of gaming are prohibited including those at the Jackpot Room.
10. All participants are to return to their chalet by the stipulated time (as indicated in the programme) to have ample rest.
11. Safety precautions should be observed at all time
12. No entering of opposite gender’s chalets at all times. 13. No entering of opposite gender’s toilets at all times.

PROGRAMME

Rules
1. According to that of the house rules of Orchid Bowl
2. Each person is entitled to one game only. Every participant and facilitator is required to play. No substitution is allowed unless due to medical reason.
3.  Should there be any substitution, the games still has to be completed within the stipulated time
4. No vulgarities or obscene language or visual
5. All games have to be completed within the stipulated time
6. Judging will be based on the score calculated by Orchid Bowl’s computer system
7. Should the game not be completed within the stipulated time, penalty on points will be imposed. 20 points will be deducted from total score.
8. Points will be added to the total score to compete for the Most Outstanding Sub Theme Group Award

Rules
1. Design must be Related to sub theme
2. Facilitators are encouraged to participate with their students
3. Be creative
4. No vulgarities or obscene language or visual
5. All shirts Have to be completed within 1 hour from start of competition
6. T-shirts, Hangers, fabric paint and markers will be provided
7. You may wish to add on accessories at your own cost to design your shirts
8. Groups are required to make a presentation on the rationale behind the design works
9. Judges’ decisions are final
10. Points will be allocated based on judging criteria
11. Best Design will win a prize for its sub theme for the T-Shirt Design Competition
12. Points will be added to the total score to compete for the Most Outstanding Sub Theme Group Award

4. All cooking has to be completed within stipulated time
5. Food and BBQ equipment will be provided
6. Cleanliness and hygiene has to be adhered to at all times
7. Groups are required to make a presentation on the rationale behind the design works
8. Judges’ decisions are final
9. Points will be allocated based on judging criteria
10. Best Presentation and Taste will win a prize for its sub theme for the BBQ Competition
11. Points will be added to the total score to compete for the Most Outstanding Sub Theme Group Award
 
Terrarium Design Competition @ Hort Park (17 Sept 08, Wed)

10. Best Taste and Design will win a prize for its sub theme for the Sandwich Making Competition
