Ms Lim Ping Ping’s journey demonstrates that success is not one fixed route. She grew up in a rental flat and helped at her parents’ hawker stall during her childhood. She studied at a polytechnic and later pursued a Bachelor of Science in Economics through distance learning while working. While building her career across both the public and private sectors, she took a career break to be a stay-at-home mother to raise her children. Her journey highlights resilience, practical choices and growth over time. Today, she draws on her diverse experiences to mentor younger colleagues and support students in their development.
