Biography
Ms Sheila Manokaran’s journey challenges narrow definitions of success. Progressing from the Normal (Technical) stream to the ITE, diploma and university, she has overcome the stereotypes often attached to non-traditional pathways. Today, she is the Co-founder of River Valley Irregulars (RVI), a youth development platform that helps young people build confidence, portfolios, networks, and access to opportunities. She is also the Head of Outreach and Projects at Potato Productions, where she leads partnerships and social-impact projects in education, community and youth development. Her story invites students to rethink success beyond grades, labels, and starting points.
