A welcome message to delegates as we embark on a shared journey towards a We-First Singapore.
On behalf of the organising committee, it is my honour to welcome you to Poly Forum 2026. This year holds special significance — we mark our 30th anniversary, celebrating three decades of young minds thinking boldly and shaping the future of our nation.
Our theme, "We, the Citizens of Singapore", draws inspiration from the Forward SG movement and the vision of a We-First society. It is a timely reminder that our individual aspirations are deeply intertwined with the well-being of those around us. When we care, contribute, and look out for one another, we build a Singapore defined by lasting social harmony and collective well-being for generations to come.
This forum is your platform to generate fresh ideas, deepen your understanding of national issues, and grow as leaders and collaborators. We are honoured to have Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Second Minister for Education, Mr David Neo, open our proceedings, and deeply privileged to welcome Prime Minister Lawrence Wong for a dialogue with delegates at our closing ceremony. We also invited student participants from ITE and REACH Youth Advisory panel.
To every delegate — be present, engage fully, debate with conviction, and connect with your peers across all five polytechnics. You are not just participants; you are the changemakers this nation looks to.
