Sub-Theme 1: Fostering Intergenerational Solidarity

Building empathy and understanding between the seniors and the young, recognising that together we are stronger.

In this sub-theme, participants will explore how younger and older generations can lean on one another's strengths to build a more inclusive Singapore. Through immersive learning journeys, experiential workshops, and conversations with seniors, participants will deepen their appreciation of ageing and discover how every generation has a valued role to play in each other's journey.

Sub-Theme 2: Building an Inclusive Singapore

Making Singapore a more inclusive and equitable society for persons with disabilities and lower-income families.

In this sub-theme, participants will explore issues of inequality, accessibility, and inclusion in Singapore through immersive learning journeys and simulations. Beyond cultivating empathy for persons with disabilities and lower-income communities, the activities encourage participants to recognize the strengths and potential of these individuals. Participants will reflect on their role in building a more inclusive, compassionate, and equitable society. 

Sub-Theme 3: Redefining Success and Merits

Moving beyond a narrow, grades-based definition of success and merit towards an inclusive one that values diverse talents, skills and interests.

In this sub-theme, participants will examine how success and meritocracy are defined within Singapore. Through public interviews, data analysis, and dialogues with guest speakers, participants will reflect on the shifts required to cultivate a more inclusive definition of success that values purpose, collective well-being, and achievements beyond academic grades. 

Sub-Theme 4: Living Sustainably to Protect our Future

Embracing sustainable and ethical choices to safeguard our citizens' long-term well-being.

In this sub-theme, participants will understand the complexities of trade-offs that human choices have on resources through a gamified experience, learning journey, and insights from industry experts. Through these activities, participants will recognise that sustainable choices will help to preserve resources for future generations in Singapore.  

Sub-Theme 5: Thriving in the AI Era

Ensuring that citizens have access to the skills and opportunities necessary to thrive but not be replaced in a future shaped by AI. 

In this sub-theme, participants will examine the impact of AI disruption and explore the adaptive skills required to remain resilient and thrive in the future workforce. Through dialogues with industry speakers, learning journeys, and role-playing discussions, participants will navigate the ethical tensions and recognise the unique human attributes that remain essential in the AI era.
